While on the surface race relations may seem to be improving, a 2018 Pew Research Center study revealed that nearly 60% of Americans agree the state of race relations in the U.S. is terrible. Why?
Divisions between people based on skin color, ethnicity, belief systems, and stereotypes keep dragging humans apart, keeping us from coming together as one. Around 40% say they don’t see anything getting better concerning racism – and the same percentage say they think things are getting worse. Across the globe, similar problems persist.
