With over twenty years of legal experience, Holly is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Criminal Appellate Law and headed up the Appeals Team of the Travis County District Attorney's Office. In her roles with the Public Integrity Unit, Civil Rights Unit, and Conviction Integrity Unit, she worked to address official misconduct and remedy wrongful convictions.

Holly formerly served as the Rules Attorney for the Court of Criminal Appeals and taught advanced legal writing at The University of Texas School of Law.
