Dear Supporter,

 

Thank you for electing me to serve all of Leander in 2021 and re-electing me in 2024. There's more work to do to build an even stronger legacy for Leander and that's why I'm running for Mayor. As a long time resident and local business owner, I have watched our city transform from a small town in 2007 with very limited access for its citizens to a sprawling suburb of nearly 90K residents. Leander is an amazing community. We have our very own college campus, a variety of housing options, public transportation, a large municipal park, youth sports leagues, new schools, places of worship, shopping, local eateries, breweries and tasting rooms, national chains, a growing art community plus new lifestyle amenities for our residents to enjoy.  We are ranked 3rd best place to live in Texas; 8th best place to live in the US and ranked in the top ten safest cities in Texas.  

 

What I know is this: becoming the city we want to be takes experienced, principled and strategic leadership that listens and gets things done. I have always worked to put and keep Leander first. That’s why I was elected in 2021; why I was re-elected in 2024 and why my fellow council members unanimously voted me Mayor Pro Tem three times. My legacy is service and leadership. It's why I’m running for Mayor of Leander. I’m ready and the time is now.

 

Our residents expect quality city services and the option of spending their hard earned dollars right in our own community. Our residents want a city focused on safety, more parks and amenities, real solutions for traffic and road improvements and more opportunities for both families and businesses. You can count on me as your next Mayor to use my experience, the relationships I have built with our residents, our business owners, other cities and leaders to listen and get things done for Leander.
