Join a diverse coalition of affordable housing advocates, nonprofits, and housing providers to push for a large investment in affordable housing to be on the November 2022 ballot. This bond will continue the work from our city's previous bonds and meet our community’s affordable housing goals.

An affordable housing bond of at least $350 million will invest in affordable housing programs to help address Austin’s worsening affordability crisis, including home repair and rehabilitation, home ownership help for low-income Austinites, and purchasing properties to create more housing people with lower incomes can afford.

The bond program will fund:

• Rental housing development, including preservation and permanent supportive housing 
• Ownership housing development assistance, including preservation and new housing
• Home repair, including for seniors and veterans
• Land and property acquisition throughout the City
