Preserving our Heritage, Moving us Forward --

Greetings family, friends, and friends unknown! I have been asked to run for City Council in the beautiful city of Rockwall, Texas. After much encouragement, I have answered the calling and have officially filed.

The reason is simple: "When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required."

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
I am the President and Founder of an incredibly successful Global Time & Attendance Consulting firm, "Workforce Transformation Group", headquartered here in Rockwall.

I specialize in Labor Law and employee timekeeping. I ensure that employers pay their employees according to U.S., State, Local and Municipal Labor Laws, Union contracts, policies, etc., while reducing risk to both employee and employer. My motto is, "Just because it's cheaper, doesn't mean it costs less."

My specialty is solving very complex and expensive problems - I dig deep in order to reveal the ROOT CAUSE of their issues - while leveraging my 30+ years of technology skills.

We have converted millions of employees from outdated and risky timekeeping to modern, risk-mitigating systems, for many of the largest organizations in the world, including Amazon, AT&T, Kellogg's, Black and Decker, and even locally, for the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Agency. My position affords me lots of freedom to serve my community. The timing has never been better.

I intend on bringing my love of technology and problem solving to the Council, so that we may continue our fiscally responsible approach to solving our growth challenges.

PERSONAL LIFE:
We have called Rockwall home since 2005. My ex husband and I are the proud parents of a wonderful sophomore at Rockwall High School. She is very active in school activities, and volunteers at the Dallas LIFE Homeless Shelter in Dallas. Her father is a professional musician who produced and toured with Donna Summer, Dan Fogelberg, Foreigner, Crosby Stills and Nash, Diana Ross, and Destiny's Child, among many others. Yes, the road life really IS all it's cracked up to be. I am a St. Louis native (Chesterfield, MO - West St. Louis County, very much like Rockwall). If the Rangers ever play the Cardinals again in the World Series, I promise to root for the Rangers!
