Kristin Ashy, a long time resident of Austin and NW Hills, is running for the Austin Independent School District Board Trustee position representing District Four! This seat represents the entire Anderson Vertical Team and a large part of the McCallum Vertical team. Kristin’s service to the public schools as a teacher, PTA president of both Doss Elementary and Murchison Middle School, and three years of service on the Facilities and Bond Planning Advisory Committee (FABPAC) make her the most qualified candidate who shows her public school advocacy through her actions. A product of public schools, Kristin believes that public education is the foundation of our community and our future!
