My name is Jason Embry, and I’m running for Place 7 on the Leander ISD Board of Trustees. I’m a small business owner, a parent of two LISD students, and I’ve spent more than two decades working at the intersection of education, public policy, and politics.

We have a great school district, but even great districts can’t stand still in a rapidly changing world. I’m running to make LISD more innovative, more transparent, and more worthy of the public’s trust. I will work to improve the experiences of families currently enrolled in LISD while also trying to rebuild trust with those who have opted out of our schools.
