My name is Jason Embry, and I’m running for Place 7 on the Leander ISD Board of Trustees. I’m a small business owner, a parent of two LISD students, and I’ve spent more than two decades working at the intersection of education, public policy, and politics.

We have a great school district, but even great districts can’t stand still in a changing world. I’m running to help make LISD more innovative, more transparent, and more worthy of the public’s trust. I want to create better experiences for the families we serve, and to earn back the trust of those who have chosen other options.
