Continuing the work, Deepening the Impact.
A proven leader, community builder, and tireless advocate for Manor's students, families, and future.
Rooted in Manor. Recognized beyond it. Ana Cortez doesn't just hold titles - she shows up. From the school board to the national stage, every role reflects the same commitment: lifting Manor ISD families and creating real equity for our communities.
Ana has never forgotten wher she came from - a migrant farmworker family, a first-generation college student, a single mother who worked hard to create opportunities for her children, and someone who understands first hand the transformative power of public education.
Togehter we have accomplished so much:
*Strenthened educational opportunties for our students.
*Expanded innovative academic programs and pathways.
*Advocated for our educators programs and pathways.
*Worked to ensure fiscal responsibilities and transparency.
*Helped guide Manor ISD through unprecedented challenges while keeping students at the center of every decision.
*Elevated Manor ISD's voice at the state and national levels.
My service extends beyond our district. I have had the honor of serving as:
*President of the Manor ISD Board of Trustees
*President Emeritus of MASBA - School Board Members for Latino Equity
*Board Member of the National Association of Latino Elected Officials (NALEO)
*Founding Member of the Manor School House Foundation
*Founding Member of the Manor Arts Council
*Board Member of Jolt Initiative
*CEO and Owner of Ram Practice Management, Inc.
But our work is not finished.
Public education faces unprecedented challenges, and Manor deserves experienced leadership that understands our community, protects our schools, and continues to build opportunities for future generations.
I'm proud to announce my campaign for re-election to Manor ISD Board of Trustees.
