Grounded in the communities we serve and united by a shared belief that every Texan deserves the dignity of a fair shot at success, the Texas Senate Democratic Caucus is advancing legislative priorities that improve the lives of all Texans. We’re fighting for a Texas where hard work is respected, families can thrive, and opportunity isn’t determined by zip code, background, or bank account. That means creating jobs and building an inclusive economy, strengthening our public schools, improving access to health care, making housing more affordable whether you rent or own, protecting civil rights, and protecting our air, water & land for future generations. From rural towns to big cities, we're working every day to deliver a future that works for all of us.
The Senators’ districts encompass urban and rural communities across the state, representing more than 11 million Texans.
