Braveheart Foundation, Inc., is a non-profit organization that has been in existence for 5 years. Braveheart's mantra is to "reach the unreachable" by providing humanitarian aid, health education and health activism in impoverished communities worldwide. We are excited that we will be taking our annual medical mission trip from June 7-27,2019 to Uganda, Africa.
Our Mission and Vision:
Braveheart's mission is to reach out in love by providing resources needed for the spiritual and healthcare development in communities, locally and around the world.
Our Approach:
Braveheart continue to strive in expanding its programs and offerings. Braveheart is currently preparing to travel and provide life-saving care and health education to villages across the east African country for the fifth consecutive year. We travel throughout the impoverished country and set-up mobile medical clinics for villagers to come and receive free healthcare for diseases that burden their particular village. Since the inception of Braveheart in 2014, over seven thousand villagers have been impacted with free health services during our annual medical missions. Braveheart foundation use minimal funding and resources to impact many by providing mass drug administration and in-depth health education in the most desolate villages of Uganda.
In order to meet our mission and provide these health services, we rely on the generosity of businesses and organizations for support. Without the assistance of community-minded organizations, we wouldn't be able to serve those in our community and around the world each year. We ask that you make a commitment to support our annual appeal by making a monetary contribution. Our goal is to raise $25,000 which will cover expenses for our upcoming medical mission trip and orphanage outreach to Uganda, Africa in June 2019.
Other Cost:
Mobile clinic expansions, medications, shipping of medications and equipment, medical supplies such as (portable EKG machine, portable ultrasound, blood pressure monitors, pulse oximetry monitors, alcohol swabs, wound care supplies, dental hygiene supplies, reading glasses for vision clinic, ophthalmoscopes, lab microscope and lab supplies, dopplers, sterile dental equipment, solar panel lights). Braveheart also provide transportation via motorboats to transport nearly 700 people who live surrounding the desolate island of Lake Buyonyi which cost $250/per day for 3 days. Your generosity will make a difference in this effort by allowing us to continue in our work.
