Fellow allies of animals:
During the 2015 Texas legislative session, several bills were filed that would have placed burdensome regulations on animal owners, rescues, shelters and ranchers. A like-minded group of us came together, and with the resourceful assistance of some key legislators, defeated the bills that would have added onerous government regulations to the care of our animals, and may have put a halt to the momentum of the “no-kill” movement in Texas.
Knowing we would face the same forces again this year, we founded the Animal Association of Texas, a political action committee created to ensure that our ranch, shelter and rescue animals and their owners are safe from undue government regulations.
Please join us to raise funds for our efforts in 2017. There are various sponsorhship levels -- $1,000, $500, $250, $100 and $35. We also encourage you to invite a friend or two!
