Dear Supporter,

My name is Serenity Coats, and I am running for the Leander ISD School Board (Place 1). I believe our students deserve access to the best education, support, and opportunities that we can provide to prepare them to be successful after high school. As a parent of four military children and an active volunteer on several committees in the district, I have seen firsthand the strengths of our district and the opportunities where we can continue to grow. 

I am running because I believe in the collective power of public education, I want to advocate for teachers and students, and I want to encourage other families and community members to get involved in our district.
