Thank you for coming here to support my campaign. I am running to restore the highest standards of professionalism, innovation, and transparency to the Travis County District Attorney's Office. As your district attorney, I'll deliver results and provide the unvarnished facts — not a jumble of misleading statistics.
I am a member of the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of East Texas and the first in my family to graduate from college. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Virginia School of Law. I am in my 20th year practicing criminal law: first as a public defender, then as an assistant district attorney for Travis County, and now as a defense attorney in private practice.
We are building a winning campaign that will make you proud. I will have much to say about why we need change and why I am the best candidate to rebalance the scales of justice in our community.
