Shanika For Forney School Board Place 3
My name is Shanika McGaughey (mac-goy), your candidate for Forney School Board Place 3. I believe education is at the root of everything we do and believe. Quality education, especially for our youth, is critical to their current and future success. Education has always been a priority in my life, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Woman's University and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University Texas to teaching grades 4th-12th in public, private, and charter schools for twenty years. Education is my forefront.
I am no stranger to the classroom and challenges our school system faces. I know my experience and determination to see our children thrive, will only add strength to the school board.
We are all called to do something, whether big or small. My calling is to educate and be a positive influence to all that I encounter. I ask that you support my efforts of becoming a board member of the Forney School District Place 3.
