The late Travis County District Attorney Ronnie Earle would remind our community that a prosecutor's duty is “not to maximize the number of convictions but to see that justice is done.” In 15 years as an Assistant District Attorney for Travis County — under four district attorneys, including Mr. Earle — I earned a reputation for skill and ethics.

I ask for your support so I can restore the highest standards of professionalism, innovation, and transparency to the office. As your district attorney, I'll deliver results and provide the unvarnished facts — not a jumble of misleading statistics. Above all, I expect to be held accountable when re-election time rolls around.
