Re-Elect Eric Boyce For Cedar Park City Council

My name is Eric Boyce, your place 4 Cedar Park city councilman, and I am excited to run for re-election in in the upcoming May 2024 election.

I am a husband of 31 years, a father of two, a local business owner active in our chamber, a man of faith, and a servant leader who loves Cedar Park.  I bring leadership, expertise and experience to the city council, as well as a genuine interest in working with all stakeholders to continue charting the future of our fine city.

Citizens of Cedar Park are right to demand much from their elected leaders.  Experience matters, especially in a complex and dynamic city such as Cedar Park.  A collaborative approach is also very important, understanding that the interests of the city and its citizens are paramount and senior to any personal agendas.  The issues of our city are entirely local, not national, and there is no reason why citizens of good character, regardless of party, shouldn’t be able to come together for the good of the city.  No politics, just results.

My experience serving Cedar Park and in volunteer leadership at the local level matters greatly in this election.  Prior to serving on city council, I served as the President of the Cedar Park Economic Development Corporation board, the Chairman of the Planning & Zoning comission, as well as the Legislative committee for the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce.  I currently serve on the board of the Leander ISD Educational Excellence Foundation (LEEF), and previously on the Steering committee for the Leander ISD strategic plan development.

I also believe my leadership and involvement on community boards also provides significant perspective in this election.  I served on the boards of Austin-based LifeWorks, Communities in Schools and Catholic Charities, and I have served my professional society as President of our local 450-person chapter.

I’ve been entrusted with fiduciary oversight over more than $100 million in assets as part of the investment committee for two large endowments, including the Seton Hospital endowment.  Additionally, during my career, I’ve had the responsibility of providing direct oversight of more than $300 million in client assets as a portfolio manager, and I sign an pledge every year to uphold the high ethical standards demanded in our industry.

I humbly ask for your support and your vote in May.

Eric
