Jimmy for AISD
My name is Jimmy Counihan, and I'm running a grassroots campaign for the Austin ISD Board of Trustees to represent District 7 in Southwest Austin. I'm a third-generation AISD graduate and product of District 7 schools, attending Mills Elementary, Gorzycki Middle School, and Bowie High School. I have spent my professional career focused on state government and public education policy. As Austin ISD faces a potential state takeover, the Board of Trustees needs leaders knowledgeable about state policy, funding formulas, and accountability systems.
