Dallas City Council Member Chad West will be in Austin on October 4, 2023. He was elected to a third term in May 2023, and funds from this fundraiser will raise funds that will only be used for a potential May 2025 reelection campaign to Dallas City Council District 1.

Chad is a proud YIMBY. He has been a champion on council for prioritizing strong neighborhoods where residents can choose to walk, bike, take public transit, or drive to necessities and amenities in their own backyard.

On Council, Chad's biggest accomplishment has been the enactment of the West Oak Cliff Area Plan in his district, which is the largest area plan ever undertaken in South Dallas. It was designed to empower neighbors to have the tools necessary to update antiquated and exclusionary zoning to better serve Dallas in the 21st Century.

Chad has been leading the fights on building missing middle housing, removing and boulevarding I-345, and on his biggest priority, eliminating parking minimums.
