Ashika for City Council Fundraiser

My name is Ashika Ganguly and I'm a lifelong Austinite, former educator, and a fierce advocate for our community. 

I was born and raised in West Austin to immigrant parents who taught me the value of hard work, public service, and community. 

I taught for years in an AISD middle school after being called for service – but year after year I saw my students and their families deal with the same issues every day — affordability, child care, transportation challenges, and so much more. 

District 10 deserves a city council member who will work tirelessly to solve the issues our community faces every day. As a Legislative Director in the Texas House, I have spent my time outside of the classroom fighting against extremism and for common sense policies that help Texans.
